Is Angler Tech free to download?
Yes — Angler Tech is free to download on iOS and Android. The live river map, streamflow readings, water temperatures, and basic fly recommendations are free forever. Pro features (Strike Zone forecasts, unlimited AI Fly Advisor, offline maps, alerts) are a 7-day free trial, then a monthly or annual subscription.
Which rivers does the fly fishing app cover?
Every gauged trout river in the United States. Live USGS streamflow and water temperature data is pulled on demand for 10,000+ rivers and streams, plus reservoir and lake data from USBR and USACE.
How fresh is the river data?
Live. USGS gauge data refreshes every 15 minutes at the source; Angler Tech fetches it on demand each time you open a river, so the CFS and water temp reading is never more than a few minutes old.
Does the fly fishing app work offline?
Yes. Save any river to your dashboard and Angler Tech caches the map tiles, hatch data, and recent conditions so you have access in the canyon with no cell signal.
Is the app iOS only?
Angler Tech runs on iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, and the web. The iOS build is our primary platform and gets features first.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings. You keep access through the end of your billing period.
